About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. You will also work under the guidance of our Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine donor eligibility through proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion
  • Manage donor adverse events, including evaluation of donor reactions and follow-up as necessary
  • Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results
  • Work under the guidance of our Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program
  • Current licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
  • Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting

What We Offer:

BioLife Plasma Services offers a competitive salary of $31.54 - $43.37 per hour, depending on experience.
