Government Contracts Attorney Opportunity

LMI, a leading government consulting firm, is seeking a seasoned government contracts attorney to join its dynamic Law Department. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic counsel and support for the pursuit and performance of federal contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement statutes and regulations.
  • Manage bid protests and advise on contract claims.
  • Negotiate business agreements and handle export controls.
  • Ensure ethics and compliance, conduct internal investigations, and provide training.
  • Advise on mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement statutes and regulations.
  • Juris Doctor degree and barred in at least one state, with the ability to qualify as Virginia Corporate Counsel.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
