We are seeking a qualified Temporary Part-Time Faculty member to teach online and/or face-to-face Philosophy courses at the 1000 or 2000 level. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the class, including content delivery, assignment development, grading, and assessment of student learning.
Key Responsibilities- Teach online and/or face-to-face Philosophy courses at the 1000 or 2000 level
- Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
- Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
- Assess student learning and report on progress
- Meet with students during assigned times
- Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field
- Successful completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program in Philosophy or a related field
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
- Ability to work with broadly diverse communities
- Terminal degree in Philosophy or a related field
- Online teaching experience
- New Mexico residence
