Temporary Part-Time Faculty: Anthropology Instructor

UNM Los Alamos is seeking qualified temporary part-time faculty members to teach lower division classes in Anthropology. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the class, including content delivery, assignment development, grading, and assessment of student learning.
Responsibilities- Teach online and/or face-to-face Anthropology courses at the 1000 or 2000 level
- Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments
- Grade student work and provide feedback
- Meet with students during assigned times
- Assess student learning and report on progress
- Master's degree in Anthropology or a related field
- Successful completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program in Anthropology
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
- Online teaching experience
- Terminal degree in Anthropology (Ph.D., MFA, etc.)
- New Mexico residence
- Terminal degree in Anthropology (Ph.D., MFA, etc.)
- Experience teaching Anthropology courses
- Online teaching experience
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
