This role is a critical addition to our team, focusing on a project aimed at enhancing our financial data management strategies. We are seeking an individual with a robust background in IT analytics, particularly in the realm of financial data. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Power BI and familiarity with Python environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the administration of Power BI Premium nodes, including workspaces and gateways, ensuring optimal deployment and governance.
  • Administer the Python environment, ensuring proper configuration and maintenance in collaboration with enterprise partners.
  • Develop and support analytics solutions utilizing tools such as SpotFire, Power BI, Python, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff in Power BI and analytics skill development.
  • Consult on the Citizen Development program, ensuring compliance and sustainability of solutions.
  • Guide business-embedded technology teams in delivering effective Citizen Development solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the IT-BC-FIN Data vision and strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics solution development and support.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Power BI administration, including deployment and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in Python administration.
  • 3 or more years of experience with finance data and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established relationships with service delivery partners.
  • Experience with enterprise data strategies and security.
  • Familiarity with IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Shell and PowerShell.
  • Experience in database design and support.
  • Knowledge of integration tools like SSIS or Informatica.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT security and controls.
  • Experience in project and service delivery methodologies.
