POSITION SUMMARY

The Generator Rental Technician plays a crucial role within the US Generator Rental Division. This position involves deploying, servicing, and maintaining rental generators from Power Plus. The technician will be responsible for traveling to various sites, engaging with customers professionally, and completing inspection documentation to report on generator performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fuel, operate, and maintain generator units.
  • Assist with the setup of rental generators at diverse locations, including telecommunications sites, existing buildings, and construction areas.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on generator systems, including oil and coolant changes and fuel system servicing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills are essential.
  • Experience with diesel engines is advantageous.
  • Technical education in automotive or transportation fields, or relevant military experience is preferred.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery, forklifts, and mobile cranes in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • A Class A license is a plus.
Hourly pay range: $25.00
