Electrical Systems Engineer

FEP Search Group is seeking an accomplished Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing electrical systems, components, networks, and personnel designated to maintain and install electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical systems, components, networks, and personnel designated to maintain and install electrical systems
  • Implement capital and expense projects, including design of proposals, development of project electrical, programming and wiring requirements, selection and ordering of equipment, selection and direction of vendors and contractors, and project cost accounting
  • Oversee project installation and startup, train plant operations, maintenance, and management personnel
  • Research plant systems, including performance and reliability, and recommend appropriate updates and changes
  • Maintain facility power systems
  • Maintain plant PLC, server, and network systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and expansions
  • Support the implementation of mechanical projects through the design and implementation of required power, networking, and PLC control systems
  • Develop and maintain full electrical and program documentation to support all projects
  • Provide oversight for the Instrument tech shop and overall electrical work direction
  • Be responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local code requirements
  • Manage the plant electrical safety program as per NFPA-70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
  • Be responsible for supplying the maintenance planner with the required information during planning stages to designate equipment identification for the CMMS system, as well as provide any technical documentation to develop preventive maintenance for installed equipment

Requirements:

  • Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
  • Recent experience in the beverage industry is strongly preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in electrical engineering
