About the Role

As an Axle Maintenance Technician at Daimler Truck North America, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery. Your expertise will be essential in installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair production machinery, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with engineers and service technicians to resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
Requirements
  • GED or High School Diploma required; Certified Journeyperson card holder or 8 years of experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and work with engineers and service technicians
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair, including machining processes and PLC/CNC controlled equipment
  • Knowledge of gauge methods and lock-out procedures
