Job Title: Senior Construction Project Estimator Lead

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Location: Remote or On-site

Job Description:

The Senior Construction Project Estimator Lead will oversee and review project plans, requirements, and specifications to ensure accurate and timely completion. This role requires demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop large multi-disciplinary estimates, determine labor and equipment costs, and prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles, as well as the ability to understand project logistics and project schedule. They will also be responsible for reviewing quotes and estimates with the project team, preparing estimates and different levels of completion, and orchestrating pre-construction duties and meetings with owners, clients, and engineers.

The Senior Construction Project Estimator Lead will serve as the company interface between owner and architect, responsible for developing leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subs, and project team. This is a well-established firm that has maintained a commitment to success and increased the adoption of sustainable construction practices throughout the industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
  2. Demonstrate leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop large multi-disciplinary estimates.
  3. Determine labor and equipment costs.
  4. Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
  5. Understand project logistics and project schedule.
  6. Understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
  7. Review quotes and estimates with the project team.
  8. Prepare estimates and different levels of completion.
  9. Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meetings with owners, clients, and engineers.
  10. Serve as company interface between owner and architect.
  11. Develop leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subs, and project team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or similar field.
  • Experience working on large multi-million-dollar projects exceeding $5 million dollars.
  • Advanced computer skills with estimating software.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles.
  • Understand all aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects.
