The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative to join our team. This is an in-person position located at 15 Old Rollinsford Rd, Dover, NH.

Responsibilities

The Patient Access Representative will be responsible for managing in and outbound calls, scheduling, and registration functions for patients of Wentworth-Douglass Health Systems.

They will provide exceptional customer service, create new patient medical records, verify insurance eligibility, collect demographic information, and offer applicable documents.

The individual must be able to hold in-depth financial conversations with patients to provide cost transparency and improve financial success.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service setting or clerical experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and insurance authorization
  • Strong computer skills
