Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our team at KBR, Inc. in Newark, DE. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a group of engineers and designers, providing technical direction, and overseeing the planning, budgeting, and controlling of engineering programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to a team of engineers and designers.
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and controlling of engineering programs.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE), or ability to obtain one within 6 months of start of employment.
  • 12+ years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lead a small to medium team to deliver on commitments.
