This role encompasses the essential responsibilities of an MRI specialist. Key duties include executing MRI examinations, which involve the setup, scanning, and processing of MRI studies. The position also necessitates effective communication with radiologists, other medical professionals, patients, and their families.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Conducting quality assurance and reporting tasks.
• Managing daily schedules and workflows.
• Initiating IVs as required.
• Contributing to the smooth operation of the department while ensuring high standards of patient care.
Participation in on-call duties may be necessary.

Required Qualifications:
• Completion of a radiographic program accredited by JCERT, the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, or the American College of Radiology.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least one year of experience in an acute care environment.
• Previous hospital experience.
