Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Providence, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care through the use of advanced imaging technologies. Working closely with our team of radiologists and healthcare professionals, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses, enabling our medical team to provide the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and the medical staff.
- Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities to enhance department efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
- California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography certification within 1 year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a hospital environment performing both CT and General X-Ray exams.
