Job Summary

RefleXion Medical is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and manufacturing our complex electro-mechanical, radiation therapy medical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Align, fit, or assemble electrical and mechanical components for various subsystems, collimation, PET arcs, and/or power panels.
  • Cable Routing: Perform cable routing for various subsystems, collimation, PET arcs, and/or power panels.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate component traceability and associated build documentation.
  • Subsystem Testing: Perform routine subsystem level testing; identify and troubleshoot failures as needed.
  • Repair and Upgrade: Perform repairs and upgrades to assemblies as required.
  • Quality Standards: Follow established internal and 21 CFR Part 820 quality standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Practice safety standards as set by Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience performing hands-on assembling and/or repairs on electrical, mechanical, cable assemblies or similar equipment.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Skills: Advanced skills with basic hand tools and inspection equipment.
  • Reading and Interpretation: Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Availability: Available to work first shift (6am to 2pm).
  • Lifting: Must be able to routinely lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Height Safety: Ability to work safely at heights (ladders, elevated platforms, etc.).
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Device Experience: Previous medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Motivation: Motivated, proactive self-starter.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to documentation details and traceability.
