Role Summary:
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing and facility operations through effective execution of maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include servicing, repairing, and operating CNC and conventional machine tools, as well as various manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with conventional manufacturing equipment, including mills, lathes, and drill presses.
- Maintain and repair CNC machinery with diverse controls and models.
- Oversee a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in maintenance operations.
- Collaborate on Safety, Health, and Environmental initiatives with existing staff.
- Conduct internal safety audits and formulate action plans.
- Guarantee adherence to SHEA safety protocols by maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate major repair schedules to align with manufacturing workloads.
- Implement minor design modifications on outdated equipment.
- Identify and procure replacement parts for manufacturing machinery.
- Lead a thorough building preventative maintenance strategy.
- Supervise and coordinate external service providers as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or machine repair, encompassing both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics of manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs under time constraints.
- Familiarity with the basic operations of manufacturing machinery.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Capacity to manage tasks accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as required.
- Potential travel may be necessary.
