Maintenance Mechanic 3 PIT5

A skilled Maintenance Mechanic 3 PIT5 performs routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities components and systems utilized by LGSTX Services.
These systems include all types of work on conveyor systems, all components of conveyor systems, and other material handling equipment.
This position may interact, inspect, and oversee contractors' work.
Key Responsibilities- Performs reactive repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment as designated.
- Possesses the ability to cut, weld, and fabricate.
- Reads and interprets technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Safely operates all equipment associated with the manufacturing and demolition of conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and constructs mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develops work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
- Acts as a liaison between LGSTX Services and contractors on maintenance, modifications, and operations of equipment.
- Available to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must have at least 5 years of verifiable prior work experience with industrial or commercial maintenance work as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision and/or as part of a team.
- Two to four years of formal approved technical training, apprenticeship, or schooling in industrial or commercial maintenance is preferred.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
