The Operations Processing Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the designated department(s) at MagMutual LLC by providing exceptional customer service, accurate document production, and timely communication to key parties. This role is a key aspect of daily processing for all Operations as it relates to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Process incoming and outgoing mail, and provide general office support as needed.
- Handle all requests of functional areas in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established service standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to obtain and provide information, improve processes, and enhance the policyholder's experience.
- Timely and accurately create and submit regulatory reporting required by operational function.
- Maintain data integrity in source systems and ensure accurate documentation creation and distribution to policyholders and internal business partners.
- Provide reception, phone, and desk coverage as needed.
- Participate in audit schedules by internal or external partners, producing files, documents, and responding to questions.
- Participate in new and upgrade installation for all systems that impact functional areas, including building business requirements, test cases, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Associate Degree or minimum of 2 years of operational experience.
- 1-2 years of insurance or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems applications.
- Preferred experience in legal, claim, underwriting, accounting with P&C Insurance, or medical environment.
- Ability to evaluate and properly handle confidential information.
- Ability to produce high-quality outcomes in a highly productive environment.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Good organizational, customer service, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a flexible environment to support the MagMutual mission of 'working together' to get the job done.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within various departments.
- Ability to use critical thinking in processing work and resolving problems.
