Job Title: Mobile Diesel Technician

 

Ryder System is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective workflows

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel engine repair
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
