Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at our Chicago clinic. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you'll be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art MRI scanner, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanner, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality scans
  • Order supplies, clean equipment, and prepare scan rooms
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report to relevant departments
  • Utilize ancillary tools and equipment, including PACS and software systems
  • Post-process images, ensuring all steps are complete
  • Train new technologists in patient safety, room preparation, and effective communication
Requirements
  • Strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
  • Licensed with the appropriate board (ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
  • Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Patient care skills and ability to explain complex medical terms
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations
