We're seeking a skilled MRI Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team at PSG Global Solutions in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocols.
- Locate and record internal elements of the body, and identify any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
- Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
- Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
- Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
- Review tests with peers and physicians.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested according to department procedures.
- Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
- Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
- Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data into patient information systems, and update file systems for tests performed.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and readjust equipment or write referrals for repair.
- Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of MRI diagnostic imaging procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
