Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team at Cummins. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead work studies for new and current production lines.
  • Develop and implement standard work methods for new and current production lines.
  • Lead projects to create and implement manufacturing processes that meet safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications.
  • Apply manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Maintain the application of Cummins standards and develop manufacturing standards.
  • Communicate with and influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.
  • Work with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices to drive improvement.

Requirements:

  • College degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate level relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
