Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Teradyne. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing cutting-edge electronic hardware used to test integrated circuits in test systems around the world.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital, analog, and power circuitry for test systems
  • Participate in specification margin analysis, design verification, and design for reliability, testability, and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Firmware, Software, QA, Thermal Design, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing
  • Work closely with semiconductor suppliers to ensure design requirements are met
  • Participate in industry seminars and ongoing skills-based training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
Requirements:
  • BSEE or MSEE in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development
  • Strong understanding of digital design concepts, transmission line applications, and high-speed design techniques
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation tools, such as IBIS and SPICE
  • Experience with common lab bench top equipment, including scopes, DMMs, and function generators
