As a Commissioning Engineer at KPIT, you will play a crucial role in helping mobility leapfrog towards a clean, smart, and safe future. Our company accelerates clients' implementation of next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute the commissioning of hydrogen electrolyzer equipment at customer sites within the schedule and budget.
- Perform site acceptance test (SAT) for final handover/acceptance by customers.
- Supervise installation and construction activities at customer sites. Manage subcontractors on location.
- Conduct site surveys in support of proposals, site selection, and site requirements definition.
- Conduct in-house testing of our manufactured equipment in a local test facility.
- Resolve installation issues, procedures, and methods by working with management, engineering, quality control, and contractors.
- Promote efficient flow of information and ensure complete and proper record keeping of commissioned equipment.
- BE Mechanical/ BE Instrumentation (Electromechanics).
- Working experiences on SCADA/PLC/VFDs/ Process Plant automation/Utilities/ Industrial Networks/ Gas systems backgrounds together with the availability to travel are the expectations and skillsets we have in mind.
- Good instrumentation and controls experiences.
- Hands-on, practical engineering experience – including the ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical specification documents.
- Demonstrate a tenacious personality and the ability to manage a high volume of customer needs at any time.
- Previous EPC, Oil & Gas experience is considered an asset.
