Optometrist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at True Eye Experts in New Tampa. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience by coordinating daily administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

• Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication between doctors and staff
• Manage patient records, including financial information and insurance details
• Process payments, collect charges, and expedite third-party claims
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager to optimize office systems and procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities

• Familiarity with in-store technology and software applications
• Basic knowledge of services, products, and office operations
