Compensation:

$21 - $26 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in processing payments to vendors and managing case-specific expenses
  • Conduct general bookkeeping to ensure all financial transactions comply with legal standards
  • Maintain accurate payment documentation and ensure proper filing in client records
  • Provide support to the Accounting Department with various administrative tasks
  • Handle checks and manage all correspondence related to general accounting inquiries
  • Prepare journal entries, conduct analyses, perform account reconciliations, and assist with the monthly closing process
  • Meet processing and reporting deadlines consistently
  • Compile accounting records necessary for case files
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Understanding of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and data entry
  • Experience with various software and troubleshooting common accounting software issues
  • Meticulous and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
