Job Description:

The role of Senior Salesforce Developer at Fidelity Investments involves developing skills and collaborating across teams in a dynamic environment. As a key team member, you will enhance, maintain, and support existing solutions, as well as build new ones for business partners. Your responsibilities will include writing automated unit and integration tests, packaging software using containers, and coordinating builds using continuous integration pipelines.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce administration, including Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development, including crafting Lightning Apps and Certified Salesforce Developer
  • Demonstrated experience working with standard functions/modules of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers, Classes, Callouts, SOQL, Workflow Rules, Approvals, Visual Flow, Process Builder, and Platform events
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and CRMA is preferred
  • Unit and integration test automation using Provar
  • Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services
  • Knowledge of systems, controls, and techniques for identity, authorization, and authentication management
  • Passionate and open to learning new tools and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
  • Ability to work well in a small, agile team in a collaborative environment

The Principal Engineer

The Principal Engineer is responsible for working closely with the Technical Lead to architect, design, and build pilots and new products. Candidates must be comfortable working with a small team of developers in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous environment, working with emerging technologies, high risks, and uncertainty.

  • Experience with databases, Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and Non-Relational (MongoDB)
  • Strong Object-Oriented skills and experience with UML
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments, applications, and tools
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile/iterative software delivery methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly convey information to a broad array of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented
