About the Role:
As a Youth Care Associate - Bilingual, you will provide therapeutic support and supervision to youth in our care. You will work closely with our treatment team to ensure the implementation of client treatment plans and participate in unit activities such as life skills exercises, recreation activities, and cultural education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to youth in our care
- Implement client treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team
- Participate in unit activities such as life skills exercises, recreation activities, and cultural education
- Ensure first aid and healthcare is provided for clients as specified by our policies
- Assume responsibility for campus activities such as driving a campus vehicle, transporting clients, and clothing or supply shopping
- Record documentation according to our policies and communicate professionally with external stakeholders as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- One year of child welfare experience working with children and/or adolescents
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Pass a background check, including federal and state fingerprint checks
- Pass a drug test pre-employment
- Maintain ORR required vaccinations
What We Offer:
- Paid training as you learn how to support youth with trauma
- Free Employee Assistance Program
- Option to work six or twelve-hour shifts
- Shift differential of $1.25 per hour for hours worked between 7pm and 7am
- Retention bonus of $500 given at 3 MOS/6 MOS/9 MOS for a total of $1500.00
