- Basic comprehension of the English language sufficient to understand labels, instructions, and guest requests.
- Previous experience in cleaning roles is advantageous.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms in line with company standards (including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting).
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms as needed.
- Maintain and organize the housekeeping cart.
- Promptly report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Greet guests in hallways and public areas with a friendly attitude and offer assistance.
- Ensure that special requests from guests are acknowledged and fulfilled.
- Provide information about the hotel, its standards, and local attractions.
- Communicate effectively with all departments regarding VIP guests and special needs.
- Deliver newspapers, messages, packages, and other items requested by guests or team members.
- Assist with luggage or packages for guests as required.
- Maintain visibility during peak times to assist guests.
- Collaborate professionally with hotel associates and assist other departments as necessary.
- Handle guest complaints and compliments with professionalism and courtesy.
- Respond to guest inquiries using a positive and clear voice.
- Stay informed about all hotel amenities, special events, and local attractions.
