Key Responsibilities:- Establish a Positive Learning Environment: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development in our students.
- Support Student Development: Work closely with lead teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and faculty members to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work effectively with the lead teacher and other faculty members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification: Preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen and respond effectively to children, parents, and faculty members.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work productively without supervision, show empathy and compassion for young children, and be dependable and adaptable.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
