Reporting To: HSE Director

Role Summary:

The HSE Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all personnel within Noble Casing, Inc., Noble Drilling, LLC., and Noble Trucking LLC. receive essential HSE training and resources necessary for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

This position requires collaboration with management across various divisions to guarantee that all employees are equipped with the necessary training and tools to uphold positive HSE outcomes and fulfill their safety responsibilities.

The HSE Coordinator is tasked with implementing measures to mitigate potential risks to the lowest feasible level across all sites and providing support for the Employee/On-Boarding Safety Training to ensure compliance and accuracy in training materials for both new and existing staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a proactive HSE culture within the organization to minimize risks and ensure a safe, compliant workplace for all employees.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to prevent injuries and reduce environmental impacts.
  • Assist in the development and management of HSE procedures, programs, and documentation as required for Casing, Drilling, and Trucking operations.
  • Maintain accurate HSE recordkeeping and data integrity across all Noble locations to support effective reporting and metrics for HSE initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards as per OSHA and state regulations.
  • Facilitate demonstrations, testing, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Evaluate job activities to ensure proper use of safety equipment.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of emergency equipment and first-aid supplies.
  • Perform safety audits and inspections, documenting findings and collaborating with the HSE Director to address any issues.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, compiling reports to identify root causes and preventive measures.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for safety incidents and complete relevant reports.
  • Conduct trend analysis and site inspections of operational procedures and equipment.

In emergency situations, respond appropriately to hazardous material and waste incidents, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.


Support Responsibilities:
  • Provide backup support to Safety Training Coordinators as needed.
  • Assist management in identifying potential risks during facility walkthroughs.
  • Offer personal coaching and guidance as appropriate.

Engage in special projects or assignments as directed by management, which may include transporting employees for medical treatment or drug testing.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of direct HSE experience, with a focus on oil and gas, manufacturing, or field service environments.

Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements is essential.

  • Experience in conducting HSE audits and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% to support HSE activities across various locations.

  • Expertise in risk assessment and compliance with safety standards.
Education:

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, environmental science, or occupational safety is preferred.

Physical Demands:

The role requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and climbing stairs.

Work Environment:

Employees may encounter moving equipment and varying weather conditions while performing their duties.
