Job Title: Adolescent Medicine Physician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Adolescent Medicine Physician to join our team at the Mount Sinai Health System. As an Adolescent Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary and specialty care to adolescents and young adults in our busy interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Center.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, including primary and specialty adolescent and young adult health care, reproductive health services, and care for youth with HIV, eating disorders, and chronic disease.
- Precepting adolescent medicine fellows, pediatric residents, and Icahn School of Medicine medical students in the outpatient setting at the Adolescent Health Center.
- Participating in research opportunities, including an NIH-funded long-term study of HPV and quality assurance projects.
- Developing new programs and participating on medical school/hospital committees.
Requirements:
- MD degree with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Pediatrics.
- Adolescent Medicine board certification or eligibility.
- New York Medical License.
- Commitment to Mount Sinai's vision, mission, and approach to patient-centered care.
- Passion for working with young people and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in building systems of care for vulnerable populations.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
