Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Specialist to manage our accounts receivable operations. This role involves evaluating credit histories and ensuring timely payment collection from clients while adhering to our established Credit Policy.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and possess strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Successful candidates will be adept negotiators, capable of managing collections for both large and small balances in a dynamic environment.


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective oversight of all assigned accounts in line with the Credit Policy.
  • Monitor cash receivables closely, develop credit relationships with reliable companies, and collect outstanding balances within set credit terms.
  • Collaborate with internal and external sales teams regarding credit assessments, overdue accounts, deliveries, and credit holds.
  • Draft email communications and make informed credit decisions on challenging accounts.
Qualifications:
  • A High School diploma is required; a college degree or credits are preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High level of professionalism and effective negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced credit and collections setting.
  • Capability to communicate effectively with all management levels.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
