Key Responsibilities- Design and develop business intelligence solutions, including reports, visualizations, and dashboards, to meet business objectives and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders, to align solutions with business needs and technical requirements.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses to inform business decisions.
- Automate and optimize data retrieval processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop specifications and prototypes based on business requirements and lead efforts to analyze and optimize report performance.
- Help manage reports and information distribution to stakeholders, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Stay current with the latest methods and technologies related to business intelligence and reporting, including trends in Artificial Intelligence.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships and manage Firm resources responsibly.
- Proficiency in MS SSRS, MS Power BI, Excel, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and Analysis Services.
- Solid understanding of SQL Databases, data retrieval, and relational design.
- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience in the legal industry, Aderant Expert (or Elite), and serving finance customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to convey complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with providing datasets to large language models, prompt engineering, and related fine-tuning practices.
- Maintains knowledge of current technologies, relevant industry directions, and best practices.
Skadden offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $155,000, comprehensive health care, savings plan/401(k), and voluntary benefits. We also offer generous paid time off, paid leave options, including parental leave, in-classroom, remote, and on-demand learning and professional development opportunities, and robust well-being classes and programs.
