About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQM) as a Heavy Equipment Operator - Remediation Services. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality remediation and construction services to industrial, commercial, and government clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment, including hydraulic excavators, track-type tractors, bulldozers, and wheel loaders. A valid Driver's License and current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification are also requirements for this position.

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, with benefits including paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401k and STD/LTD coverage.

In this role, you will operate heavy equipment on remediation sites, perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, and troubleshoot issues. Overtime and travel may be required for this position.

  • Experience performing duties related to hazardous waste clean-up, using personal protective equipment, and working knowledge of field equipment and gear.
  • Familiarity with standard safety procedures dealing with hazardous materials and general knowledge of confined space entry, construction, complex pumping systems, electrical, chemical transfer, and plumbing.
