Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join our team at EquipmentShare in Seattle, WA. As a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Salary: $28-36 per hour (estimated annual salary: $58,240 - $74,720)
Job Description:
In this role, you will operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws, transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. You will also assist with loading of or load and unload goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloading empty skids and returning all equipment to designated areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver, you must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points. You should also have the ability to remain focused in a busy environment. Additionally, you must hold either a commercial drivers license or chauffeur's license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated, pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations, and pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
