The Lead Financial Analyst position at Brightview Senior Living offers a unique opportunity to join our Corporate Accounting Team. In this role, you will oversee daily general ledger accounting for diverse products while mentoring junior accountants and contributing to the resolution of intricate financial challenges and enhancing organizational processes.


Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive accounting, analytical, and modeling services for a portfolio of corporate entities and development communities, as well as engaging in various finance projects that support operational and management teams throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle accounting functions for assigned corporate entities and development communities.


Maintain monthly workpapers, perform reconciliations, review general ledger data, post journal entries, prepare wire requests, manage payables, inter-company transactions, and prepare draw requests, among other assigned tasks.


Prepare balance sheet reconciliations:
Identify, research, and resolve problematic transactions, with a focus on bank reconciliations.

Complete month-end close responsibilities in line with established timelines.

Prepare and analyze weekly cash requirement reports and recommend accounts payable selections.

Review and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.

Assist with investor capital calls and distribution processes, including waterfall calculations, holdback estimations, and reconciling contribution and distribution activities.

Support the year-end audit process by gathering necessary documentation, preparing work papers, financial statements, and audit packages.

Participate in annual budgets, re-forecasts, and tax projections using financial modeling to provide quality assumptions.


Prepare entries, accruals, and reconciliations related to payroll and benefits for the organization, collaborating with payroll services and community accounting teams to address inquiries and provide support as needed.


Provide backup support to the Treasury function regarding inter-company settlements, ACH and wire payments, transfer requests, and liaising with third-party banking partners.

Assist in preparing annual tax documentation in coordination with external tax partners.

Compensation Disclosure:


The salary range mentioned reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives, nor does it encompass the value of our benefits program. Offers will consider factors such as experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably in residential property management, assisted living, independent living, or public accounting, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

CPA and/or MBA preferred, or a comparable combination of education, experience, and certification.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general ledger applications.

Experience with Yardi Voyager accounting software is preferred but not mandatory.

Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to independently interpret data, create models, draw conclusions, and make informed recommendations based on those conclusions.
