Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is a vital member of our care team, responsible for providing general non-certified routine services to our residents. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who is committed to delivering exceptional care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
  • Assist with all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
  • Answer resident call lights promptly and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
  • Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned and maintain communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
  • Provide great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
  • Assist clinical staff to make residents comfortable, including checking sitting position, hydration, and passing.
  • Assist with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School/GED
  • 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare or senior living setting
