Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application IT Support Analyst to join our team. As an Application IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of SaaS & Oracle cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize the application infrastructure, including SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS offerings.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems related to application performance, functionality, and security.
  • Collaborate with developers, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and test solutions for application enhancements and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for application infrastructure support.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and best practices for application infrastructure improvement and innovation.
  • Act as technical lead for DR and Performance testing for specific applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT analysis and support.
  • Familiar with middleware offerings such as Apigee, boomi, and Informatica cloud.
  • Experience with drafting technical documentation.
  • Understanding of basic monitoring concepts and how tools are used to meet those requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic independent troubleshooting by looking through logs, investigating, and fixing simple code issues.
  • Basic understanding of security best practices.
  • Ability to create simple scripts.
  • Understanding of cloud fundamentals (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS).
  • Proficient with command line tools on both Linux and Windows servers.
  • Understanding of networking, load balancers, and general connectivity protocols.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to deliver solutions that meet business needs and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with DSeries Scheduler, Azure DevOp, and/or FlexDeploy.
