Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in the Philadelphia Office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor. Our company is a top local firm with exceptional leadership and over $300M in annual volume.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure clients' needs are met as the project evolves
Analyze risks and opportunities
Oversee project procurement management
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
Construction Documents (RFI's, Submittals and Change Order)
Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports)
Review and verify employee payroll before submission
Manage and update insurance certificates as needed

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or related experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or related role within the construction industry
Proven experience managing contracts, reviewing payroll, and handling insurance certificates
Excellent knowledge of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
