Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our high-energy Medical-Surgical/Adult & Pediatric unit at Mercy Hospital Washington. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced nursing staff to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adults and pediatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including post-operative care and management of chronic illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other healthcare settings.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current LPN license in the state of hire.
  • 1+ year of recent bedside experience as an LPN.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • LPN-IV Certification.
