At Vizient, we're seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team in Chicago, IL. As the first point of contact for internal and external guests, you'll be responsible for managing the reception desk, greeting and directing customers, vendors, and business associates, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring a positive impression for visitors and staff.
  • Respond to phone calls in a professional tone, routing calls to the appropriate employees or departments, and providing callers with requested information in a timely manner.
  • Manage visitor sign-in journals, provide feedback on procedure enhancements, and maintain control of access badges.
  • Ensure the reception desk procedural guide is up-to-date, presenting it to the Workplace Manager quarterly for review and providing service enhancement feedback as needed.
  • Provide administrative support, including inputting building service requests, Remedy tickets, vendor certificate of insurance tracking and filing, ordering flowers, and assigned projects.
  • Operate and understand the usage of the Aiphone camera system, opening work tickets to resolve any technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • No experience required, but knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a reception role or hospitality/office support service is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and polished appearance, work well under pressure, and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn Workday, Adobe Reader, Eden hotel software, and Remedy Force ticket software application.
  • Able to successfully certify in AED/CPR Training.
  • Possess strong customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively, and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, diligence, and ability to multitask.

Compensation:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate, and hires typically fall below the top range. The current salary range for this role is $31,100.00 to $48,000.00, and this position is also incentive eligible.
