POSITION SUMMARY:This role involves delivering essential patient care and providing fundamental health education. Responsibilities include administrative tasks that support patient care, such as managing schedules, maintaining records, and overseeing inventory of medical supplies.
Qualifications:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
LPN, CMA: Completion of an accredited LPN or Medical Assistant program. Valid Idaho state license or current CMA certification.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
Compensation: $20.75 per hour for CMA's and $24.50 per hour for LPN's, based on experience.
Employees may qualify for a quarterly bonus of up to $520.
Work Schedule: Full-time position requiring 36 to 40 hours per week.
A referral bonus of $500 is available, along with a $500 sign-on bonus after completing 1,040 hours and six months of employment. CNA's may have the opportunity to participate in the CMA apprenticeship program at the expense of Family Health Services.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Competence in preparing and processing laboratory samples according to established guidelines.
• Ability to observe, document, and report patient symptoms and progress.
1. Organizes and manages documentation for patient appointments and surgical procedures.
2. Assists healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
3. Conducts patient triage.
4. Inputs nursing charges into the billing system.
5. Reviews patient records, checks patients in, and documents vital signs and medical histories.
6. Records and communicates observed symptoms and changes in patient conditions.
7. Administers medications and applies sterile dressings.
8. Participates in mandatory in-service training programs.
9. Maintains immunization records and tracks abnormal lab results.
10. Manages inventory of clinical and office supplies as required.
11. Provides education to patients on health-related topics.
12. Coordinates the handling and delivery of laboratory specimens and results.
13. Adheres to safety and infection control protocols.
14. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This position is typically performed in a clinical environment, requiring moderate physical activity. Employees may need to lift or move patients and will be exposed to potentially hazardous materials, necessitating adherence to safety protocols and the use of protective equipment.
