Job Description:

PacifiCorp is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Director to lead the development and implementation of Information Technology projects.

About the Role:

  • Manage the IT project team to meet identified project success criteria.
  • Establish project milestones, negotiate timelines/schedules, develop project plans, and communicate timely and relevant information.
  • Lead the integration of vendor tasks, review vendor deliverables, and mitigate potential risk to the company.
  • Proactively understand stakeholders' priorities, requirements, and operational impacts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of related experience resulting in demonstrated skills in project management.
  • Analytical and evaluation skills to define critical tasks, establish a logical sequence of events, identify individuals/teams, timelines, and outcomes, and produce project plans.
  • Anticipate and resolve obstacles before they adversely impact schedule, scope, or budget.
  • Project management skills to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, determine specifications, schedules, timelines, and define deliverables.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.
  • Financial modeling to quantify costs and benefits of projects and track and maintain project budgets.
  • Expertise in project management techniques, applicable policies, procedures, and practices, and federal, state, and local laws.
  • Expertise in the use of technical applications, software (such as Microsoft Project), and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP or other professional project management certification.

  • A competitive salary range of $115,900 - $136,300.
  • An annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary.
