Job Title: Technical Program Manager - AR Products

Affirma, LLC is a leading technology consultancy that provides innovative solutions to businesses of all sizes. We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team and help manage test, characterization, metrology, and data infrastructure for our AR products.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the development and execution of test solutions for multiple AR lines of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing test hardware builds and test program releases, contributing to the AR products and services. This role will work closely with engineers and product managers, strategically managing projects from development to post-launch/in-market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Release Strategy: Develop and execute release roadmaps for the programs owned.
  • Test Hardware Builds: Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware builds and test program releases for our products.
  • Release Planning: Develop release plans, schedules, processes, procedures, and documentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Risk Mitigation: Dive deep into technical systems to triage risks and issues found, take necessary actions to mitigate them, and stay connected to the details to help make the right release tradeoffs.
  • Program Progress: Create, maintain, and communicate program release progress and updates to all stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across XFN teams (quality assurance, product management, and other stakeholders) with varied priorities.
  • Technical Excellence: Demonstrate a strong bias for action to handle multiple build priorities simultaneously and drive technical excellence within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the release management process and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years as a Technical Program Manager, 3+ years of test engineering, systems engineering, or software engineering experience.
  • Education: S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, project management skills with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs in a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Release Management: Experience implementing and managing software release management process for 0 to 1 consumer device products.
  • DevOps and Agile: Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $75-$80 per hour.
