Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Participate in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, and WA Radiology License required.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 36 or 40-hour contract. The schedule includes days and weekends, with occasional on-call shifts. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
