Job Overview

The Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Employment Specialist for Behavioral Health to provide job development services to adults with mental health diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with treatment providers and community members to promote long-term success.
  • Provide on-going assessment and career development for consumers.
  • Develop relationships with employers through in-person visits to learn about business needs and hiring preferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interviewing and counseling skills, public speaking ability, and community outreach expertise.
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and passing of background check and drug screening.
Estimated Salary Range: $24.05-$30.60 per hour based on DOE.
