Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beef Shoppe Manager to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train a team of meat department staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient stockroom operations.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising displays to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other store departments to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, audits, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce shrinkage.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support store operations and goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or food service management role, preferably in a meat department or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Knowledge of meat products, inventory management, and visual merchandising principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
