Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned Procurement Supervisor to become a vital part of our team. The Procurement Supervisor will take charge of managing the acquisition of goods, supplies, and materials essential for our projects. This position demands exceptional negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to cultivate and sustain relationships with suppliers. The Procurement Supervisor will collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and cost-efficient procurement while upholding high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with project specifications and budgetary goals.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers based on pricing, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to determine and anticipate procurement requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and precise delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and industry developments that could influence procurement decisions.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, promoting collaboration and partnership.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiations and achieving cost savings.
  • Strong comprehension of procurement processes, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Capability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions.
