Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent and objective audits of IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to assess the effectiveness of IT controls and risk management practices.
  • Identify and assess IT-related risks and develop recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement audit findings and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends and technologies and provide guidance on their implementation and management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT auditing, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead or senior auditor role.
  • Professional certification in IT auditing (e.g., CISA, CISSP) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT operations, general controls, software application and security design, and applicable IT and information security best practices and related regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a financial institution or credit union.
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience with audit software and tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA).
