We are seeking a highly qualified Rheumatologist to join our faculty in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Stony Brook University's School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care in Rheumatology with a focus on teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research programs in rheumatologic diseases.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities within the Division and the School of Medicine.
- MD or foreign equivalent degree.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
- Demonstrated interest in clinical research with a focus on rheumatologic diseases.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students and trainees.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Track record of securing research funding.
